About Jennifer
My journey to coaching began in 2002 when I started my career in education. Over the next 14 years, I grew skillful at bringing out the best in my students—not just academically, but also socially, and emotionally.
When I became a mom of two, I took a leap of faith and stepped away from the classroom to focus on raising my girls. The space I found in my new role allowed me to explore other passions like yoga and personal development.
I became a certified yoga instructor and taught yoga in the cracks of time while balancing mom life, and volunteering as a Girl Scout Leader.
It was at this time that my daughter's mental health began to decline. Thus began the emotional roller coaster of hospital stays, inpatient facilities, and residential programs. She was getting the support she needed, but I was a mess. My anxiety was through the roof and I felt utterly powerless in my life. I realized that I needed support too.
That's when I found a coach.
My coach helped me navigate the ups and downs of life, while simultaneously setting big goals for my future—one of which was to become a coach myself!
Through my coach certification program, I learned the essential life skill of mind management. From there, my life was forever changed. I realized that I have the ultimate power to create a life I love.
This journey helped me to discover my calling… coaching teens from all walks of life to help them do the same.
Alongside their parents, I partner with my clients to help them find their purpose, increase confidence, and create a successful life.
